For girls in grades 3-5, who are new to the game of basketball.

About the event

For girls in 3rd-5th grade new to the game of basketball.  By the end of the 8 weeks the girls should have the following skills:

Dribbling: Dribble with both hands for 30 seconds without losing control.   

Passing:   Complete 10 chest passes and 10 bounce passes with a partner.   

Shooting:   Make 5 out of 10 shots from a designated spot close to the basket.   

Defense:   Understand basic defensive stance and positioning.
